Let me introduce myself and the website.
My name is Ronald Watson, and I have been retired for 17 years. Before retiring, I had a few (well, a lot) of varied jobs. Those ranged from my trade as a motor mechanic at age 16. My last occupation was as a museum costumed interpreter. In between those positions, I worked as an HGV Class 1 driver and a qualified driving instructor for cars and Class 1 HGVs There are a few more occupations in between, but I'll leave those out for the moment.
I started building this site to keep my mind active, but at 82 it's getting harder as technology advances faster than my poor brain can keep up; not all is lost, yet I am managing.
As always, when you keep the mind going, the body starts to slow down and wants to go to sleep. That looks like the next project I will have to consider. Keeping the body in reasonable condition will take a lot of thought and willpower, which I seem to lack.
